here are the OH-SO-YUMMY chocolate-mayo cupcakes with caramel icing i made emily for her birthday! i know, i know, the mayo sounds weird, but it just makes the cake so moist! i think chad ate them in maybe two bites!

xmas countdown continues

wow, so apparently i've been really busy lately and have been neglecting my duties on the blog! i guess the christmas tree display has turned out to be a weekly thing... oops! to try to make up for this, i am attempting to post a picture of my very own christmas tree this year! i bought new round lights that i love so much more than the traditional lights, some ornaments that follow my apartment's color scheme, and a copper star for the top that lights up as well! i also found a tree skirt that was a bit expensive, but i loved too much to pass up! i love how it has turned out, and putting it up definitely helped put me more in the christmas spirit! enjoy!

so sorry it's been a few days... for those of you who don't know, i burnt my right hand to a crisp this past monday in school with a bowl full of hot frying oil. feels just as lovely as it sounds! anywho, please forgive me for not including trees for every day this week, but here is the next installment!

i'm not sure about the rest of you, but i LOVE christmas season! outside of stressing over presents, i feel like everyone is always in a jolly mood this time of year... maybe it's due to all the sparkley things to look at everywhere! in honor of this season, and one of my favorite parts (the xmas tree), i'm going to post a different tree everyday! i hope ya'll enjoy looking at them as much as i will!!
